I spent eight days driving across New Zealand’s South Island, capturing vast, somewhat distant landscapes.
A journey spent constantly on the move gave me the feeling that I’d been granted a brief glimpse into the local way of life and scenery.
To ensure I don’t forget the scenery rushing by, I’ll make sure to keep it firmly in my heart.
ニュージーランド南島を車で8日間走り、映したものは、広大な少し遠い風景。
移動を続ける旅はそこでの暮らしや景色を、短い間覗かせてもらったようなそんな感覚。
どんどん通り過ぎる景色を忘れないように、確かに心に残しておく。

1992年大阪生まれ。大阪芸術大学写真学科卒業後、アシスタントを経て独立。2018年よりSIGNOに所属。人物や風景を中心に、被写体との距離感を大切にした静かで温度のある表現が特徴。国内外で撮影・展示を行う。主な展示に「Frenchfries with mayonnaise」（zakura、2019年）、「Point to Point」（Experiment、2024年）がある。
