熊本県出身。2015年に玄光社に入社し、『CMNOW』編集部を経て、2023年2月より月刊『コマーシャル・フォト』編集部に所属する。同年8月には編集長に就任。横山結衣1st写真集『未熟な光』、市川美織2nd写真集『果汁29%』、鳴海唯1st写真集『Sugarless』など、写真集も多く手がけている。

Born in Kumamoto, Japan, Nagata joined GENKOSHA in 2015 and worked in the editorial department of CMNOW before joining the editorial department of Commercial Photo Monthly in February 2023. In August of the same year, he was appointed editor-in-chief.
